  6. Blocks are so pretty. The quilting is really amazing. You know, puzzles might be a good idea to clear the mind of clutter! I like a Casino - so loud no one can think! LOL

  7. I like seeing your Sarah Fielke blocks. Back-basting is fairly new to me, and it was perfect for that Hawaiian block. I like seeing on Facebook all the novelty prints people are using for the centre of the "star" block, too.

  10. Harrison Rose is beautiful and your hand quilting is out of this world! Love the designs you have chosen. I have never started on a border - always in the center and work out. Do you ever have any trouble doing it this way?

  12. Your header image stopped me in my tracks - a glorious close up the Civil War Bride you made! Then on to the latest blocks in the works. Your blog is one of the best resources I know on how to learn applique and the use of fabrics to create movement & eye appeal. Beautifully done Hilda!!

  17. Oh my goodness. This post makes me wish I were participating in the Sarah Fielke BOM, but I already have five huge applique projects in the works.

I love the Harrison Rose quilt so much, that I've bought the pattern and all the fabric, and just can't wait to start it!

You are an inspiration, as usual, and I'm so happy when you post.

  25. Oh my what progress! I love the border quilting on your Harrison Rose. Stunning! Your Bouquet block is lovely. I cheated so much on this block I felt I shouldn't even post it. But I did have fun with it. Your Sarah Fielke blocks are lovely. That reverse applique heart looks challenging. Thank you for another great post.
