Patchwork of the Crosses

I have three quilts I'm working on at the moment ( taking up way too much room around the house ) and lots more I'd like to start of course...

My reproduction version of Lucy Boston's Patchwork of the Crosses is close to a finish. The top is done - and I have selected backing, binding and bought the wadding...

Here are some photos of the individual blocks:

This blogging is slow going for me at the moment (steep learning curve for the not-so-computer-savvy) so that is all for now. Back soon...

    1. Thanks Chris - you might notice a photo of the Mariner's Compass quilt in one of the photo collages in the last post ( from classes you gave in Berrima). I should have mentioned your name along with the others - sorry :(
      All the best

  13. Hi and welcome to blogging. I hope I got signed up as a follower - just recently started using bloglovin and not sure I did it right. Love you Patchwork of Crosses. I have all my material and paper foundation pieces and, along with two friends, will start my project tomorrow. I am so excited - hope it is as pretty as yours has turned out to be. Any suggestions?

  17. Your work with POTC or Lucy Boston hexagons is wonderful. May I ask where you found the template for the elongated hexagons? I am looking everywhere for them, but have only found them on something called Inklingo of which I am unfamiliar.
